I’m a painter based in the Texas Hill Country, where I create fine art, prints, and custom murals inspired by the landscapes, wildlife, and quiet beauty of everyday rural life. Working from my garden studio, surrounded by native plants and animals, I paint expressive animal portraits and luminous landscapes that reflect my deep connection to this environment and capturing moments that feel both intimate and expansive.
Outside of painting, much of my life revolves around nurturing my environment and appreciating the small moments that make home feel vibrant like watching birds gather at sunset, pulling weeds, going for hikes with our dogs or sharing quiet evenings with family at the river. I believe deeply in conservation, connection, and creating a life rooted in beauty, creativity, and care for the natural world. Those values naturally find their way into my work, which is often centered around themes of wonder, belonging, resilience, and the emotional connection people feel to the places and creatures they love most.
Before focusing on fine art, I spent years working as a scenic artist for film, television, and theater, building a career centered around painting at scale. I earned a technical certificate in scenic art from the Yale School of Drama and went on to work in theaters in Massachusetts and California before moving to Nashville, where I painted for regional theaters, production companies, movies and music tours. After relocating to Texas in 2013, I contributed to feature films and television projects in Austin, creating everything from large-scale painted environments and hand-crafted signage to detailed props and specialty finishes. That work demanded a high level of precision, adaptability, and collaboration, often bringing complex ideas to life under tight deadlines.
That foundation continues to shape the way I approach my work today. Whether I’m painting a mural or working on canvas, I bring an understanding of scale, durability, and how painted work exists within a space over time. I value a collaborative process and work closely with clients to translate their vision into something both visually impactful and lasting. At the heart of it, I’m drawn to creating work that not only enhances a space, but transforms the way it feels.
